A message from our Executive Director
 
 

Advances in medicine, new treatment protocols and increased survival rates in paediatric care mean there is an increased demand for our services. In response to this urgent demand and with the support of our valuable donors and partners, a new House was built and officially opened in November, 2011.

The new Ronald McDonald House Toronto accommodates 81 families per night --- three times the number of families as the former House. The new House opened on time and under budget and is the largest Ronald McDonald House in the world.

The opening of the new House has ushered in another new reality --- an increased operating budget of about $3 million annually. As a result, the House needs to engage even more donors and partners to embrace and engage with our mission.
