Ontario Science Centre Trip

To finish up our study of Energy, all students travelled to the Ontario Science Centre.  Students from JK, Grades 1, 2, 6, 9, 10 and 11 all found something that they enjoyed the most.  We started in the Living Earth Gallery and had a blast going across the rickety wooden bridge in the rainforest.  Next, it was on to the Science Arcade.  Highlights of this area included the cave, creating our own tornadoes, the slanted house and experimenting with sound in the music areas.  After lunch, we split into two groups.  Grade 3 and under students visited KidSpark where our students ran a grocery store and constructed a house using various construction materials.  Grade 6 and up students travelled to many other sites in the science centre. Their favourite part was making their own paper!  It was a very full and fun day for our students and teachers!
