Every year, hundreds of out-of-town families come to Toronto in search of life-saving treatment for their seriously ill children. Without the House, these families would have to stay in hotels or sleep in waiting rooms to be close to their child.

In 2012 and 2013, the families who stayed a the House came from far and wide:

  • Ontario 88%
  • Atlantic Canada 6%
  • Western Canada 4%
  • Quebec 1%
  • International 1%

    • Children who stayed at the House were being treated for:

  • Cardiac 33%
  • Hematology/Oncology 28%
  • Neonatal 12%
  • Transplants 5%
  • Neurology 4%
  • Gastro-intestinal 3%
  • Other conditions 15%
